I am Cristi López, a Chicago-based artist and Gainesville, Florida native. I am a first-generation American of Dominican, Spanish, and Cuban descent. I recently graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design, where I received a BFA in Illustration in 2016.

My narratives are conveyed through expressive line, texture, and surreal elements. Ambiguous and allegorical, I would like for my viewers to complete the story that my images begin. My visuals are inspired by my multicultural background, existentialist philosophy, and feminine perspectives.

I am available for freelance work– contact me at cristilopez7@gmail.com
